'American Crossroads' SuperPAC top donor list

American Crossroads practices fundraising with anonymous donors for the Republcian Party. It has raised and spent 10's of millions on getting Republicans elected. Ex-Republican officials who held high positions run the SuperPAC.

Q: How can these people donate so much money to the Presidential Elections?

A: SuperPAC's are organizations - 'Political Action Committees', that usually spend most of their money on 'attack ads' - negative advertising against a candidate they want to see lose. Super PAC's can recieve and spend any amount of money, as long as they don't donate it to candidates, a campaign, or communicate with the candidates.
